VIP Night – Fri, Dec 6, 2024

Join Mount Auburn leadership, lead designers from MASARY, SOLSTICE sponsors, and surprise special guests as we mark the opening of this annual winter tradition. The evening's program will include remarks from Mount Auburn and MASARY leadership, food and beverages, and a behind-the-scenes preview of the SOLSTICE artworks by the designers who created them. Be the first to experience two new artworks in a small group setting before the event opens to the public on December 7th!

Before purchasing your ticket(s), please note:

  • No Refunds or Exchanges: There will be no refunds or exchanges unless the event is canceled.

  • Parking: Attendees will park in an external parking lot located at 625 Mt. Auburn St. in Cambridge (about a 10 minute walk to the Cemetery gates). There is, however, still accessible parking inside the gates. A map with additional parking instructions will be emailed to all ticket holders before your event date.

  • When to Arrive: We ask that attendees do their best to arrive within the 30-minute window of your timed ticket entry so that we can better control parking, check-in, and event flow (e.g. if your ticket is for 5:30pm-6:00pm, check-in should be no earlier than 5:30pm and no later than 6:00pm).

  • Tickets: There is no need to print your tickets. Tickets will be scanned on your cell phone. Please try to have your tickets pulled up before you arrive at the Check-In tent. If you are having trouble finding your tickets, search for an email with the subject “Order confirmation for SOLSTICE 2024”

  • Food & Beverage: We will have sweet and savory treats for sale from Ovenbird Cafe, as well as beer and wine (including a special SOLSTICE brew!) from Small Change Brewing Company

  • For Your Safety: We strongly encourage attendees to dress warmly and wear suitable footwear. SOLSTICE is, primarily, an outdoor event and the route includes small hills, some stairs, pavement, and uneven terrain. Attendees must follow all instructions and guidance from Event Staff.

When you are ready to purchase your tickets:

After selecting your preferred date from the buttons below, scroll down on the Eventbrite page and under “Select date and time” click the blue hyperlink that says “More options.” This will expand the timed entry listings and show you all the options for that date. After clicking “More options,” click the event date from the calendar to ensure that all the timed entry options populate. Note: you must choose an entry time in order to purchase tickets.
